Ruta de las Flores is the perfect destination for travelers who enjoy charming colonial towns, cultural experiences, and nature. Located in the mountainous western region of El Salvador, famous for being the heart of the country’s coffee production this route stands out for its pleasant climate, weekend food festivals, artisan markets, and the warm character of its people.
We begin our journey in Nahuizalco, a picturesque town with strong Indigenous roots and traditional handicrafts. Then, we continue to one of the most prestigious coffee estates in the region, where we will learn about the coffee process from bean to cup.
In the afternoon, we head to Concepción de Ataco, known for its colorful murals, cozy coffee shops, and artisanal souvenir market. To end the day, we relax at the Santa Teresa Hot Springs, a therapeutic complex featuring natural pools, mud sauna, and optional spa services.
