Izalco Volcano (Private Tour) + Lake Coatepeque
Izalco Volcano , well known as the lighthouse of the pacific and the youngest active volcano in El Salvador, Izalco also is one of the most hill-shaped volcanoes in Central America. This experience is crucial for adventurers who are exploring our country.
The trek lasts around 4 hours in total, we start our adventure at Cerro Verde Park, here with our guide we start walking through the cloudy forest of this park then we start going up looking for the summit of Izalco. Level of difficulty will vary depending on physical conditions, but for experts is considered MODERATE.
To finish the day, we make headway to Lake Coatepeque for a time to relax. There you can enjoy a traditional dish with a perfect view and atmosphere.
