Accompanied by a certified local guide, you’ll walk through the city’s most emblematic plazas, including Plaza Gerardo Barrios, Plaza Libertad, and Plaza Francisco Morazán, while uncovering the stories that shaped San Salvador from colonial times to the present day. Along the way, you’ll visit the Kilometer Zero monument, admire iconic architecture, and experience the authentic atmosphere of the Historic Center as locals go about their daily lives.

The experience includes visits inside the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Crypt of Saint Óscar Romero, and the impressive BINAES National Library, one of Latin America’s most modern public libraries. Admission to El Rosario Church is also included whenever the church is open to visitors. Please note that access is managed by the parish and may be temporarily restricted during religious services or special ceremonies.

You’ll also explore the lively surroundings of the Central Market, discover traditional cafés, local restaurants, street vendors, and hidden corners that most visitors never find on their own.
